International Programs
Extension's Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) program offers the American Learning Experience
(ALE) to prepare students from throughout the world to compete in a global economy. International students who
participate in ALE will gain American "common knowledge" to become more successful at a college or university or more
effective in the workplace. Students can participate in any of three programs.
The American College Experience (ACE)
A three-semester program for international students
who wish to attend an American university
but who need to improve English proficiency skills
and/or improve other academic preparation for
university-level coursework.
ALE - Teacher Training Program
The teacher-training program consists of two parts; Second Language teaching methodology and Instructional
Technology over a 4-week period.
